The transcript is a summary of the events that occur in the second part of the Yuddha Kandam, an animated adaptation of the Ramayana, focused on the rescue of Sita. The story follows the intense battle between the monkey army led by Lord Rama and the demon king Ravana's forces. Various powerful characters, weapons, and divine interventions shape the course of the battle.
Lord Rama tries to make peace with Ravana, but his arrogance leads to a war between their armies. Both sides prepare for the battle with soldiers and elephants.
Ravana's son, Indrajit, joins the battle and displays his strength and power, causing the monkey army to falter. He uses deadly weapons and strikes Rama, Lakshmana, and Hanuman with poisonous arrows.
As Rama and his allies suffer from the effects of the poisonous arrows, Garuda, a divine eagle, appears and removes the poison, saving them from certain death.
Indrajit threatens to use the powerful Brahmastra weapon against Rama and his allies. In response, Lakshmana decides to accept the attack as a mark of respect to Lord Brahma. They plan to overcome the Brahmastra's effects and continue the battle.
Indrajit attacks Lakshmana with the Brahmastra, causing him and most of the monkey army to faint. Hanuman witnesses this and feels helpless as Indrajit celebrates his victory.
Hanuman learns about a herb called Sanjeevani on the Himalayan hill called Sun GV, which can revive the fallen warriors. He rushes to retrieve the herb and brings it back to the battlefield, reviving Rama, Lakshmana, and the monkey army.
Indrajit returns to the battlefield, invisible and launches a surprise attack on the monkey army, causing chaos and death. Rama and Lakshmana realize they must kill Indrajit before sunset, as he grows more powerful at night. Lakshmana prays to Lord Surya for assistance and successfully kills Indrajit.
Ravana's brother, Kumbhakarna, is awakened to join the battle. He unleashes destruction, killing numerous monkey warriors. However, he is eventually defeated.
Ravana, devastated by the loss of his son and brother, decides to confront Rama personally. They engage in a fierce battle, but Ravana gradually loses his weapons and stands defenseless before Rama.
Rama uses a powerful weapon given by Sage Agastya to pierce Ravana's chest, ultimately leading to his downfall. The gods and sages celebrate Rama's victory.
Despite the victory, doubts about Sita's purity arise. Rama asks Sita to prove her purity by entering a fire, but she emerges unharmed. The gods explain that they couldn't burn her as she is pure. Rama accepts her and prepares for his coronation.
With the blessings of Rama and the sages, Vibhishana is crowned as the king of Lanka. The people celebrate his ascension, and Rama suggests staying in Lanka for a while to ensure a smooth transition.
