Ans: 
Mr Wonka’s first invention was Wonka-Vite. He invented that medicine to make people younger. Instead, Wonka-Vite was not appropriate for consumption. It was too strong and many side effects began to appear among people.  It was so strong that some people disappeared as their age became worse. A person turned minus eighty-seven years old, which means he had to wait eighty-seven years before he could come back into existence.

Q2: Give a character sketch of Mr Wonka.
Ans: Mr Willy Wonka was a strange man. He made all the strange inventions. He had an assistant, Charlie. There were volunteers, Oompa-Loompa, on whom he tested his inventions. Mr Wonka also had an inventing room in which he performed all his experiments and the mysterious work. Once, he had invented a tonic called Wonka-Vite which made people younger but soon it started having side effects so he had to make a tonic that would reverse the effect of Wonka-Vite. So, he invents Vita-Wonk, a tonic made from all the ancient things he had collected to make people grow older.

Ans: The moral conclusion of the story “The Invention of Vita Wonk '' is that humans should not interfere with the natural processes of life. God has created us in the most perfect way he could. When we play with it as Mr Wonka did, we may suffer consequences. When he made the first tonic to make people younger, it had side effects and people went invisible. So, to reverse it he makes another tonic to make people older, but when he tested it on his volunteers, he saw that his volunteer had turned very old in the blink of an eye. Therefore, we shouldn’t play with nature or beauty as perfection lies in imperfections.

He also gathered the toe-nail clipping is from a 168-year-old Petrovitch Gregorovitch, a Russian farmer. Human mind is highly creative but its energy should be used in doing general good for everybody. The medicine for making young did no good to Mr. Wonka, so he prepared antidote named. Wonka – Vite. Nature needs to be balanced. Service to nature should be aimed at with every research/invention.
