I have been selected to take part in the dance performance. However, I regret to inform you that due to personal reasons, I will not be able to participate. Firstly, my family has planned an unavoidable trip out of town on the same dates, which had been scheduled prior to the announcement of the function. Secondly, I have been under the weather lately and have been advised by my doctor to avoid strenuous activities until I am completely recovered.
