One day, a famous sage named Mahipati came to town. Rama Natha became his follower and asked him about the magic potion. To his surprise, the sage said he knew about it. The sage explained that Rama Natha needed to plant banana plants and water them himself. During winter, he had to collect the dew from the leaves and store it. Once he had five liters of dew, the sage would chant magic words to turn it into a potion that could change objects into gold. Though this task seemed long and difficult, Rama Natha was determined to try.

Rama Natha went home and cleaned his fields, which had been unused for years. He planted many banana plants and took good care of them, collecting dew in the winter. Madhumati helped by selling the bananas at the market, earning good money. Over six years, they expanded their banana plantation and finally collected five liters of dew.

Rama Natha took the dew to the sage, who performed a ritual and gave back the bottle, instructing Rama Natha to test it. When Rama Natha tried to turn a copper vessel into gold, nothing happened. Feeling cheated, he confronted the sage. The sage smiled and called Madhumati, who brought a box full of gold coins.
