How to download your admit card

1. Open the official website: neet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the link labelled Admit Card / Hall Ticket.
3. Enter your Application Number exactly as on your application form.
4. Enter your Date of Birth in the format requested on the page.
5. Enter the Security Pin or captcha shown on the screen.
6. Click Submit - your admit card will be displayed on screen.
7. Download the PDF file and print at least two copies - one to carry to the exam and one to keep at home.

What to verify immediately after downloading

• Name - must match exactly with the name on your Class 10 certificate and the photo ID you plan to carry.
• Date of birth - verify it is correct.
• Roll number - this is your unique identifier for the exam; note it down.
• Photograph - must be clear and match your current appearance.
• Exam centre - note the full address and plan your travel and stay in advance.

What to do if there is an error on the admit card

• Name mismatch with ID: Contact NTA immediately at 011-40759000 or neet@nta.ac.in. Do not ignore this; a name mismatch can lead to denial of entry on exam day. Keep supporting documents (for example, Class 10 certificate) ready as proof.
• Incorrect exam centre: Contact NTA for clarification. Centres cannot always be changed, but NTA can advise and confirm the assigned centre; plan travel accordingly once confirmed.
• Photograph not visible or incorrect: Contact NTA support and follow their instructions for a replacement or clarification.
• Server or download issues: Try again during low-traffic hours (late night or early morning). If problems persist, contact the helpdesk and keep screenshots of errors.
• City intimation slip: If NTA issues a city intimation slip before the admit card, keep it safe; it provides the exam city and related instructions.

What to carry to the exam along with the admit card

• One printed copy of the admit card - digital copies on a phone/tablet are not accepted.
• One valid photo ID in original: Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID.
• One postcard-size photograph (the same as uploaded during registration) - to paste at the exam centre if required.
• PwD certificate if applicable, and any other document mentioned in the admit card instructions.

Before the exam: travel, reporting and final checks

• Note the reporting time on your admit card; typical reporting is one hour before the exam start. Plan to reach early to complete verification formalities.
• Check the route and travel time to the centre a day before; allow extra time for traffic or unexpected delays.
• Keep photocopies of your photo ID and admit card in your bag and carry the originals for verification.
• Read the exam day instructions printed on the admit card carefully - follow rules on permitted and prohibited items.
