Step-by-step, what every field on the scorecard means
Result expected around June 2026 NEET UG 2026 is on May 3. Based on previous years, results are typically declared within 4-6 weeks of the exam, which places the expected result date in June 2026. This is tentative and depends on the National Testing Agency's schedule. |
Raw score | Total marks you scored (out of 720). |
All India Rank (AIR) | Your rank among all candidates who appeared for the examination. |
Category rank | Your rank within your reservation category (for example, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or General). |
Percentile score | The percentage of candidates who scored at or below your score; used to compare performance across sessions and years. |
Qualifying status | Whether you have met the minimum qualifying percentile required to be eligible for admissions and further counselling processes. |
Subject-wise score | Marks obtained separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany + Zoology or full Biology test where relevant). |
Roll number | Your NTA-assigned exam roll number displayed on the scorecard. |
The scorecard provides your raw marks, subject-wise scores, percentile, AIR and category rank, and qualifying status. Percentile is a comparative measure and not the same as percentage. If candidates tie on marks, NTA applies subject-wise comparisons and other tie-breakers in a fixed order. Clearing the exam makes you eligible for counselling, but actual admission depends on rank, seat availability and reservation rules. Always download, save and print official scorecards and follow the official counselling instructions after results are declared.
