What This Assignment Is About

You will use an AI-powered mock interview tool to prepare for a real job interview. You'll set up an interview session, go through the experience, analyse your responses, refine your approach, and conduct a complete practice interview from start to finish. By the end, you'll have practised the full workflow of using AI to get interview-ready.

Scenario

You are applying for a marketing coordinator role at a mid-sized company. The job description emphasises skills in digital marketing, campaign management, and communication. You want to prepare for common interview questions and get feedback on your answers before the actual interview. You decide to use an AI mock interview tool to practice.

Tasks

Task 1: Set Up Your First AI Mock Interview

Open an AI-powered mock interview tool. Set up a new interview session for the marketing coordinator role. Configure the tool to ask you common interview questions relevant to this position. Start the session and answer at least three questions out loud or by typing your responses, depending on the tool's format.

Task 2: Review the Feedback You Received

Task 5: Conduct a Full Mock Interview Session

Let the AI tool guide you through multiple questions covering different areas such as technical skills, experience, motivation, and behavioural scenarios. Complete the entire session from beginning to end, then review all the feedback you received and identify the top three improvements you need to work on.

Task 6: Reflect on Your Progress

Write a brief reflection of 4 to 5 sentences. Think about how your approach to answering questions changed from Task 1 to Task 5. Consider what you learned about structuring answers, the role of AI feedback in improving your responses, and how confident you feel now compared to when you started this assignment.
