Forums Policy (Discussions/Chat) - Rules for Participating in Chats or Forum - Self Help Learning PDF Download

We will like the community to be as open as possible and not have any restrictions at all so all the like minded can unite together in healthy discussions. We are happy if you make new friends in the community, discuss your doubts, share advice and take advice from the like minded. We are set of people who do not like rules and hate to impose any but due to some unwarranted behaviour, we have come to a point where we need to define our chat/forum policies.

How to turn off chats?

Firstly, if you just want to study without chats, you have the option of switching off chats from the discuss tab on top right side. Click on the button which shows switched 'on' to turn it 'off'.

Rules for Participating in the forum:

1) No abusive language is allowed. Any cuss/bad words in any language are a strict no. We will be forced to block you for life without warnings. All such chats will be removed.

2) Threatening someone or acting in a rude manner with a fellow learner is also something which is not acceptable and a block will be imposed. All such chats will be removed as well.

3) Sharing external non-edurev links which aren't relevant are also not allowed and can also lead to termination of accounts.

4) Try not to share your phone numbers, this won't lead to blocking but this could be a problem for your personal privacy.

Basically, if you have simple common sense and you are ethical, you are good to go and you don't need worry about anything.

Happy e-studying,

Team EduRev
