The first law of motion states that a body remains in the state of motion or in the state of rest until and unless an external force is applied on it. This is also known as the law of inertia. Hence the answer is, the first law.

The third law of motion states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This law helps us in finding the reaction forces on a body. A classic example is the way we walk. We need to push the ground for walking and when we do so we experience an equal and opposite force on ourselves which helps us in walking.

The third law of motion does not apply to skiing as in skiing we do not apply any force on the ground. The motion is caused by gravity and extremely less friction. In all the other cases, a force is applied on the ground or the other body, the reaction of which causes the motion.

Electronegativity is the tendency of a neutrally isolated gaseous atom to attract an electron. This is high in the case of nitrogen, oxygen, and fluorine. So the negative charge in the hydrogen bond is towards them.

The magnitude of the H-bonding depends on the physical state of the compound. In the gaseous state, it is minimum and in the solid state, it is maximum. There is a great influence on a compound’s structure and properties.

Water, Hydrogen fluoride include intermolecular hydrogen while o-nitrophenol has intramolecular hydrogen bonding. Sodium Chloride NaCl has an ionic bond that is much stronger than hydrogen bond.

Aristotle classified the organisms based on their morphological characteristics. His classification neglected characteristics like nature of the cell wall, evolutionary relationships and method of reproduction.

Aristotle’s classification contained two kingdoms i.e. Plants and Animals. Plants are sub-divided into herbs, shrubs and tree. Animals are further sub-divided into red blooded and non- red blooded animals.

Aristotle classified the organisms into Plants and Animals whereas Carolus Linnaeus classified the organisms into Plantae and Animalia. Whittaker’s 5 kingdom classification contained Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae and Animalia.

Linnaeus classified amoeba under Animalia. His classification didn’t consider cell structure, nature of the cell wall, mode of reproduction, evolutionary relationships which resulted amoeba in Animalia.
