Lala Lajpat Rai. All India Trade Union Congress, AITUC (created on October 31, 1920 in Bombay) is the rst Central Trade Union of India and the second largest trade union federation in India after the Indian National Trade union Congress. In India, Trade Unions in India are registered under the Trade Union Act (1926). The founding leaders of AITUC were Bal Gangadhar Tilak, N.M.Joshi, B.P.Wadia, Diwan Chamanlall, Lala Lajpat Rai, and Joseph Baptista.

Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti is celebrated as 'Parakram Diwas' on 23rd January. He founded 'the Forward Bloc’ to consolidate the political left and major support base in his home state Bengal. He presided over two congress sessions First at Haripura in 1938 and next in Tripuri in 1939.
