okay so back for lesson 30 all we're
doing today is play more D major
examples which means we have two sharps
F sharp and C sharp so watch out for
those and I'll tell ya during the lesson
where to find those and to watch out for
them but anyway thanks as always for
watching and I'll see you in a second
for the lesson okay so here we are to
talk about the lesson thirty examples
here we have two more D major examples
the key D major tells you what think
about this for a second if you don't
know take a look at my previous videos
it tells you that we have two notes that
are sharp that are always sharped unless
they tell you otherwise
with a natural or something and I'll
show you what that's about
pretty soon so we have two sharps we
have an F sharp and C sharp and that's
the key of D major so just keep in mind
whenever you see an F anywhere on the
staff or even a little bit outside the
staff and you find AC anywhere that
those are two are gonna be sharp so here
we go we have our right hand let's get
to it maybe four four again I should
start writing some different time
signatures I think they use four for a
little too much but so maybe next time
we'll have a three for example or two
four so let's take a look at this four
for example got D with one
for to do I'm sorry I started counting
there so now I'm gonna count for you
it's gonna go three four there we go so
there's your right hand let's take our
left hand here we have a major chord
similar to the last lesson we did we
have D with five of sharpest
the third measure here we have e with
five
about the c-sharp we're gonna jump down
here a little bit shifter has to be
sharp with
so let's take a look here playing this
thing in time with both hands
again let try it again
and no dynamics with that one so nothing
to worry about there so let's take a
look at example two same kind of melody
let's take a look at the right hand same
notes as before take a note that the
second half of measure one is now a half
note so as you got D with one you're
gonna hold that for two beats then you
got G of four C we're gonna kind of
cross over to hit C sharp to rest you
don't have to lift your hand rest rest
rest
and you know like I said you know the
pump up your hand up whenever you say
rest I just kind of do that too as a
visual representation to show you when
you at rest so here we go it's gonna go
like this
you're gonna count this one
to the left hand now if we're not gonna
go over that we're gonna go over this
very quickly rather only because these
cords the other example as far as the
fingers in the notes but if you notice
instead of whole notes we now four
quarter notes so something a little
different in this one while in the we're
looking at the last three measures of
the song or the example rather that even
though we have rests in the right hand
the left hand keeps playing so that's
something a little different that we've
been doing so you've got here's the
third to last measure there with the D
with one and two the chord in the left
hand he with three a with two and
c-sharp with one so it's going to go
so note that the right hand right there
is only playing Auto beats one and three
well the left hand is playing on all
four beats one two three four so let me
add of the dynamics in now we have piano
in the beginning which tells you to play
softly in the third measure there we
have Forte which tells you to play
loudly and the very last note and
measure there we're going to be playing
piano so there you go so those are our
two examples for today I hope you
enjoyed them more examples on the way we
will probably move on to the next key
signature which has three sharps what is
that going to be you might have to think
back to the circle of fifths video but
that's going to be the key of a major
so we'll probably start out with the
scale and then I'll give you examples
with that so that concludes our lesson

introduce this the key signature of a
