all right everybody back at the piano
for lesson 33 obviously so we're going
to be playing lesson a major examples
today rather if you remember back from
the previous lessons the one the last
one I did about the a major scale and
the circle of fifths videos that were
part of the theory series that the key
of a major has three sharps those three
sharps are let's take a look here F
sharp because that top lines going
through F you got C there and you got G
there same thing with the left hand it
just mimics that F C and G so every F
every C and every G and the whole song
is sharped unless it tells you otherwise
even if if so say you have an F on this
bottom space here in the left hand even
though it's written up here that F is
also affected so every F every C and
every G so let's take a look at our
first example here right hand obviously
so we've got a with finger one you
should know what that second space in
the treble clef is by now and then you
got a with finger one and then the next
measure you've got a staccato that's
what those little dots are above and
below the note so you hit it real short
they're gonna hit C sharp don't forget
that we have a key signature of FC and
GE so because there's this C you're
gonna play C sharp staccato again then
you got E and the next measure you hit
again and now you're going to expand
your hand out just a little bit to hit D
with three and then F with five but not
F think about it F sharp so don't forget
about that F sharp and then you've got
the fourth measure here you're gonna hit
F sharp F note with five and then you're
gonna expand your hand to hit two with
deep it with B be a two rather then
you're gonna hit a with one C sharp with
three you don't forget about C sharp E
with one three with five sorry
and then the next to last measure
careful here it's not gonna be GE it's
gonna be G sharp so you have the key
signature C sharp E again the three and
then five with E
and you got a with one there's a left
hand you got five with a c-sharp with
three five with a seashore 3e with one
and then you got you've got an a dotted
half note here get three beats so you
got deed half now you got four with be a
with fun with five
and then you've got a with one and then
a with five
I'm going to change this in the in the
fight and the version I post to the wiki
but this should be a 5 sorry about that
just careful that that measure that's
supposed to be a 5 I will change that
for you in the example I post oh yeah I
need to play it both hands together so
let's see what we got here so obviously
when you first start this one you want
to learn hands separate like usual and
then put it hands together very slowly
like so and then you can speed it up if
you want sorry allergies today so let me
start again
so there we go there's example one let's
take a look at example two so now we've
have the same kind of song for the most
part except we've swatched switched
can't find where to say either switch
the left hand and the right hand so
you've got here we've got a with one
with the right hand and you got D with
for Bo to get with one and you got EU
with five you're gonna rest your a with
one left hand more of the sharps you
have to look out for in the left hand
here you got a with five and careful
c-sharp with three you with one you got
a with five D with two F sharp with one
yeah you hold that F sharp for that
third measure there and then you got
four with B you got five add a C sharp
three you with one and you got G with
five oh no no not G sorry I caught
myself there you want G sharp and then C
sharp and then you with one and then a
with five
so it should sound like this once you
can play it smoothly
so if you want to play it a little
faster so I admit I messed with that
less to measure next last measure there
so again there you go at that time so
the most important things to remember
with these two examples they're pretty
easy note wise I didn't add in any
dynamics this time because I wanted to
concentrate on the the notes and the
nuke a signature that there's an F sharp
is C sharp and G sharp watch out for
those decima that's the hardest part
about these two examples is that you had
now have more sharps to look out for so
so just careful that and I think you'll
do fine in the next example we'll add
back in the ER the next lesson we'll add
back in the dynamics it'll be a little
bit harder because we'll be a little bit
more used to playing in the key of a so
anyway there's less than 33 I hope you
