let's talk about politics now we have an
election coming up in 2016 are you are

for governor he's already announced yes
that's right he's announced to now is he
getting strong competition oh my god
everybody the race for the governorship
of California and open seat is going to
look like the race for the vice
presidential nomination among
Republicans there 15 so far but there
will be a very strong Latino Kennedy it
allowed to be Garcetti mayor of Los

here we go so I'd be the one of those
two could beat secretary state Alec
Padilla know and you've got this
handicap pretty clear at least three
that are looking seriously looking at
that possibility and there may be some
others some members of Congress on that
side other than this woman Loretta
Sanchez there may be others who may be
looking at it I think there'll also be
persons currently holding our statewide
office it wouldn't surprise me that the
guy who is the Insurance Commissioner
Jones he could very easily be looking at
that slot ah John Chong the gentleman
who is the treasurer of the state of
California maybe the guy that decides to
put together the coalition of more
moderate Democrats because you see with
the new way we get elected in the state
now yeah it's the runoff there's no its
same theory that's what I have to think
very carefully out of stir
you got to be one of the two top
finishes right that hears you into the
runoff I get you then you get a raise
and it's not the party anymore and and
when the Republican the Republicans have
becoming really smart they are decided
that if they can't win with a Republican
they helped orchestrate a more moderate
Democrat in the runoff and then they
used the Republican votes yeah couple
with the moderate democratic votes right
to control the spot yeah and they've
been successful in the east bay yeah in
that race with Glaser mm-hmm they had
the Republican woman Katherine somebody
Baker well in that race for the state
assembly they had a situation with a
black woman in in riverside you know and
they literally beat the democrat the
true Democrat with this black Democrat
who simply finished second right but in
the runoff of course she had all the
Republican votes yeah she ended up
winning black woman riverside are you
kidding me but the republicans hit that
and believe me the guy named John
cruelty ok is really a smart guy and he
has talked the Republican contributors
and to following his lead we don't need
to win the seat what we need to do is
make sure that somebody who
philosophically right vote not to see ya
right that's interesting yeah and that's
what's going to happen and I fear that
on the mayor's on the governor's race we
may face that distinct possibility
