a bicycle is a vehicle therefore a
bicyclist has the same rights and
responsibilities as a driver of a car
that means that a bicyclist has every
right that you do sitting in your car to
be on the road

when we look up the road to make sure it
is clear before making a left-hand turn
make sure you look thorough enough to
detect a bicyclist that may be coming
from that direction left-hand turns in
front of bicycles by motorists are
common collisions that injure a lot of
bicyclists and is not the cyclists fault
it is the drivers fault
so whenever turning left always ask
yourself did you look well enough to see
a bicyclist or motorcyclist that might
be coming down the street
