Hi, everyone and welcome to our video series
on driving store sales with Adwords. My name's
Antony Ho and I'm a product marketing manager
at Google focusing on Adwords Best Practices.
Today we'll be talking about one of my favorite
ways to shop, searching for something online
and then making a quick trip to a local store
to finish my purchase and pick the item up.
It's instant gratification. We're seeing this
happen more and more in today's mobile world
where shoppers on the go will look for something
on their smart phones and then head on over
to a nearby store to complete their purchase
or transaction. In fact, Google searches with
the phrase near me have doubled from 2014
to 2015 with 80% coming from mobile. So how
can you start to manage your Adwords campaigns
in a way that takes advantage of this type
of behavior? That's exactly what this video
series is going to try to answer.
I'll be covering five things. (1) How to set up
your keywords to capture all the local searches
happening around your business; (2) how to enable
location extensions for your ads; (3) how to target
customers near your location extensions; (4) how
to measure the offline performance of your
online ads and finally; (5) how to optimize your
campaigns using those metrics. Please take
