welcome today we do some conversational
Italian we will learn a few useful words
the months and you know how they
pronounced how they're used and we take
a break from learning pronunciation to
learn a few words which is good okay so
you have the English translation here so
you guess which one is which basically
so I'll be reading them off from the
first one to the last one so that you
guys can practice how to pronounce them

December now you can understand the
reason why I decided to cover the sound
yeah and yeah before this video because
you will need both for learning the
months in fact June and July are very
difficult to pronounce for this reason
many months are difficult to pronounce
because of the r sound are coming up
pretty much everywhere so the months in
general are very difficult words they
are quite long difficult to pronounce
and there are a lot of sounds that are
foreign to English native speakers as
you may or may not know all the Italian
words and in O if they are masculine and
end in a if they are feminine of course
we are talking about nouns and
adjectives not articles verbs that's a
different story but most words end in
I've they are masculine now all months
are masculine conversely to the seasons
we've seen that some seasons are
masculine some others are feminine in
the case of the months the 12 months
they are all masculine so why is it
at some and in e and some others in oh
well the ones that end in O are just
standard masculine words the ones that
end in E are not standard they are
exceptions so you have to learn by heart
that when you see a pre lay for instance
that's April and that's not a feminine
plural word you would guess it's a
feminine plural word because of the
ending all the words that end in E are
feminine plural words in Italian but in
this case we have a bunch of exceptions
as you can see April September November
and December are irregular a pre-lit
September November December so practice
learning these try and do your best
pronouncing them the proper way and

in the next one something funny is that
even the word month is irregular in fact
the word month is masculine so should be
Mazal it should end in O but it end in E
May is that so what happens when it
becomes plural what happens to its
plural form nothing the plural form is
actually regular so when you want to
make a plural you basically do what you
would do with any masculine word you add
an AI you substitute the ending with an
AI and here you go mazie this is the
plural version of the word month and
this is the singular version of it
unfortunately you will guess it's oh but
it's e me is it own Maisie this is one
month
this is two months do it mazey and this
is the months eat Maisy okay
