MIPS Tutorial 5 Printing an Integer Video Lecture - MIPS Assembly Programming

hello guys my name is Emil and I'm so
excited because today I'm gonna show you
something different but it's very
similar to what I showed you last time
this time we're gonna print out an
integer and you're gonna know you wanna
learn how to declare an integer so you
know that an integer in computer science
is just a number like it's not a decimal
number just a whole number it could be
negative or positive so or zero so now
let's do it as usual
define that you're two sections the data
for all the data that text for all the
instructions and now let's declare the
integer well one two three four
declare the integer so I'm gonna say H
my age right what is my age well it's 23
but it's an integer so I have to declare
that word store the listed values as
32-bit words so what is a word well a
word is like 3 2 bits or 4 bytes and it
makes you have a word for instruction so
for information it goes to the processor
in words and that's like the basic unit
in MIPS a word remember that 32 bits and
an integer because an integer needs 32
bits you declare a word my age is 23 so
now you know I'm 23 years old
I'm a young guy I think so yeah so now
in order to print it out we have to do
the same thing but it's a it's a little
