Green Screen Made Easy in Camtasia Video Lecture | Create a Video Masterpiece with Camtasia: Learn and Master - Professional Skills

Whoa, that was close, but I bet you're wondering
how did we pull off that green screen
effect so quick and easy. It's actually
pretty simple
All you need is a camera, lights, a green screen and some editing software
in this case we used Camtasia Studio
and the new visual effect called remove a color
I'm going to show you how it works. So what I want to do is get this green screen movie on top of my graph
So I am going to drag that onto my timeline, above the graph and I want to remove this green here.
So I am going to go to the visual properties pane and put a check next to remove a color.
Next step is to pick the color we want to remove, in this case the green. So under color, I am going to choose select color.
Then I am going to take this little eye dropper here and I choose something from the green background.
You can always try it again if you don't get it just right. And I notice we still have a little bit of a green glow around my subject.
So the first one I usually mess with is the tolerance slider.
Drag that out until it's just right. If you go too far you'll notice your subject starts to disappear.
drag it back into get a good balance
between the fringe glow and your subject.
and if you need to mess with one of these other sliders, like the softness,
go ahead. And when you have it just right you're all done.
