in this tutorial we're going to talk
about the next feature which is
translate translate is a time-saving
tool in case you have some complicated
sketches and you want to make a copy
from it move it or duplicated or money
instances so you can use the translate
feature
so let's now activate the translate
feature we can find a tail translate or
as we see before in the operation
transformation translate so let's
activate the transcript and this menu
appears this first uncheck the W head
mode you choose the sketch we want to
translate so we want to move this sketch
from this position to the centre of this
polygon so now let's just select the
whole picture now click this point which
we want to move as a reference point for
this sketch and snap it to the center of
this polygon so now we have this sketch
so now again let's try to
control C and let's activate the
translate mutt again and let's make this
time dublicate node so we me we need to
make two different sketches from this so
let's select this whole sketch and again
choose let's choose this reference point
for movement and snap it to the edge of
this polygon so now we have moved the
original sketch with keeping the same
sketch on its original please so here
you can modify you new profile so now
let's make a different almond instances
let's make three instances with the W
kit mode is check it not here also you
can have you have some constraint in
your sketch you can keep them as well
why cause to Asian so let's select this
entire sketch and choose ah
you choose this reference point so now
we are able to move that sketch and make
different instances so making this
manually by sketching the same profile
here three times more that take a lot of
time but with the transform we could do
it just in two clicks
