tutorial 85 in assembly for CATIA in the
previous tutorial we use the two types
of constraints the considered and the
Kota and we made these two constraint
and you can see the mid constraint on
the left side tree you can see
constraints the consider and the surface
contact also you can see the simplest of
these constraint and the parts here in
this tutorial I am going to see if we
want to need this block has a contact
surface with the cylinder but with an
offset between them I don't want that to
be touching this render so we can apply
in this case the opposite constraint as
we see it here in the constraint toolbox
so to apply this constraint we need
first to the limit constraint before to
delete under constraint you can go to
the constraint tree here and find the
constraints right click delete or click
delete on the keyboard or you can hover
over it here on the part pick on move
manipulation and click on this okay and
when you click on and now we have the
distance between these two surfaces
let's activate the offset constraint
respect the surface and the surface then
you can specify the distance can make 50
okay update now we have fun offset of 50
if you want to edit
that distance double-click on the
constraint now now we can write n okay
update so you have your offset
