hi in this tutorial I want to show you
how to create something like this this
is the final result that you are seen
you can go to the Facebook page links in
the description and see it in a higher
quality and another thing I want to
mention is that all the images that are
used here information about them you can
find again in the description and also I
recorded first the video of the editing
in GIMP and now I'm talking while the
video is playing and I'm going to
explain what I'm doing so let's get
started in a moment first thing I did is
created a black background with this
width and height and now I'm going to
show you all the images that I used this
one I didn't actually use
now I'm going to start editing the first
image I'm adding an alpha channel to the
image and now with the free select tool
I'm going to make a rough selection
then control I to select in word hit the
Delete key to remove and here I'm
adjusting the brush size of the eraser
tool and start erasing the unwanted
areas all I want to leave is this white
shirt I'm using a fuzzy brush there's
nothing difficult here
I'm adjusting the size of the brush with
the bracket keys
now another thing I'm going to do is dis
a this image
then I'll continue erasing with the
eraser tool
now I switch to another brush
start erasing giving this effect to the
bottom of the shirt also I change the
angle of the brush to have variety
now next thing i'll do is grab the clone
tool change back to your fuzzy brush and
start removing some of the hair
holding down the control key to sample
and then paint over the desired areas
now
this image here I'm going to make sure
it has alpha channel then again with the
free select tool I'll remove the
unwanted part then with the positive
will select the black hit the Delete key
position this change the brush again and
grab the eraser tool and start erasing
so I finished this piece and now I'm
adding another image adding an alpha
channel again with the fuzzy select tool
I'm removing the black I'm going to
desaturate it based on luminosity click
OK and I'm going to resize it
now I'm going to rotate it
and then I'm going to position it
now I'm adding the next image
scale it down
again with the free select to remove the
unwanted area
move it then I'll rotate it
I'm also going to move this layer below
the shirt and adjust it a little bit
more
and here in this layer if you can see
this on the left side of the water
splash which is placed instead of the
head there is a little bit of left over
I saw this after I recorded the video I
remove that now I'm adding the next
image
again with the free select tool I'll
select only the part that I'm going to
use
deleted
and it saturated
I'm experimenting which option will work
better now again with the fuzzy brush in
the eraser tool I'm going to erase some
of the parts that I don't need before
that I'll place the layer below the
shirt
grabbing the move tool and our switch to
move the active layer so I can move this
piece
I'm going to rotate it
and now with the eraser tool start
erasing some of the parts to make this
fit into the image
now I duplicated the layer and now I'm
moving this piece
scale it actually I want to rotate it
here I'm experimenting a little exactly
what I want to position this piece
now we'll find this layer and remove
some of the black parts
now I'm going to bring the guitar scale
down first I need to be on the right
layer
then I'm going to rotate it
then with the fuzzy select tool I'm
going to select the white area and now
I'll grow the selection with two pixels
making sure I have alpha Channel
then with the Delete key I remove the
white
now the next thing I will do is go to
colors desaturate and I'm going to
desaturate it based on luminosity first
I do some experimenting
scaling it down a little bit more
actually rotating it
now the next thing I'm going to do is
I'm going to apply an effect on the
guitar and I'm going to use the eraser
tool and the clone tool
I'm going to make it look like broken
pieces are flying away from the guitar
first with the razor tool now making
sure I have a hard edge brush and also
I'm going to adjust the angle to have
variety
now I'm going to click here and you see
the effect then I'll switch to the clone
tool control click and I'm going to have
to change the brush to a hard edge brush
I'm doing this now and click somewhere
on the guitar there click and you see
the effect and I'm also going to pulse
here now and do the entire guitar and
you see the final result here I
continued with the clone in the razor
tool to achieve the effect on the guitar
