Autodesk Naviswork 2018 Integrating the time schedule Online Lessons Video

hello everyone this video is going to be
a very important video about integrating
the time schedule into your project in
Navisworks 2018 so I'm going to start
with a CSV file in Excel showing the
task ID the name the plant start and the
plan end showing all of these dates are
these names all these IDs all of that
within the excel sheet it's up as I said
I'm going to have to save it as a CSV
file this is very important CSV file now
I'm going to go to Navisworks and I'm
going to go to within the Home tab the
timeline er so within the time liner
itself I'm going to go to data sources
add you've got CSV or other options CSV
import I choose the schedule open now
I'll make sure that for example over
here task name is name synchronization
ID task ID cap ID so everything that I
have within the columns chosen Obree
press on ok then right-click rebuild
task hierarchy very important now go to
tasks now we're going to find all of
these tasks basically over here
so all these tasks are over here now
what I'm going to do is that I'm going
to go to selection tree then go to each
level for example level one
I've got level one in the schedule from
the excel sheet select level one then go
to level one then right click at Tasker
and selection again level two then level
two right-click a pass current selection
you could do it both ways over here
level three selected at faster and
selection so you're choosing everything
from the excel file and attaching it to
the actual object within the Navisworks
project so you've got this level five
right-click a task current selection and
finally level six at that screen
selection so you've got your schedule
nice and integrated into your project
right now you can see on the right side
adds a Gantt chart you can zoom in zoom
out that's pretty much it
