Construct 2 update video Video Lecture - Construct Tutorial Become a Game

hey buddies for new star and this is
going to be a quick overview a quick
overview of what I am currently doing in
the construct 2 tutorial that we've been
doing so as you understand if you guys
have seen my side scrolling 2d action
platforming you do know I basically
going to be copying that and putting it
as a top-down view so we're going to
have an inventory similar to what was in
that really get too far along with it
but it does have it in it so let's see
what we have so far there's not too much
don yeah I've actually implement a
switching system so we're going to pop
this guy because I don't want them
following me again we do have the
real-time lights and we have our
real-time files when we have our ammo
and then we pick up this gun and then
what we do is we then hit this button we
have an inventory and then we do switch
it up what I have to do is since I
release it it does switches back to the
pistol but what I have to do is do
global events or global variable so when
we click on the gum it's going to switch
us straight over to the ricotta the the
rifle when we click on it and then we
can click on the pistol and then there
should be a plasma gun x except well no
then it's basically going to be it so
I've been having a lot going on so I've
been trying to implement these very
quickly and it in two stages but I've
got a couple of tests and like three or
four papers due this month so you can
expect that I mean it won't be like
right soon but it's going to be next
either a couple days or a week that this
video will be put up and then for
they're the inventory system we pretty
much done I don't know what else I
actually went to add to this top-down
game maybe a key of access key for doors
maybe some like items that you pick up
like hey here's a notebook which go read
what this engineer said and oh it's got
a key and then not a key but you know I
number to unlock something so that might
be some other features that i will be
doing so yeah I've been working on this
I've been just really busy and then
we're going to port this to Android and
then we'll do the switch over to a being
ported to Windows the mac and yall
already caught a the web web browsers
for congregate and then congregate we're
actually be putting in ads which should
be the same for if you do it for a
mobile so that would be a really good
feature that i want to show you guys so
it's just a beauty to say hey I've been
working on it we have like a health
system a basic pickup system that needs
some work but yeah so I'll see you guys

platformer it does have a lot of the
same features if you want to go straight
to their I pick up that file and then
kind of rearrange it for our top down
that actually should work this is just
for these people who want a straight top
