turnaround / to turn out first okay yeah
so what we're doing in this turnaround
is we're starting with an open a string
right and then we kind of muted so like
this little pause and at the end which
is implying in a chord right and at the
end with this where I'm buying an E
chord which is the five so we're
implying that we're going to come back
so oh and that's the job of a turnaround
by the way that's right we'd you back to
the beginning that's right so yeah so
our pinky is not going to move okay and
and it's going to stay on the fifth fret
of the high E string the whole time then
we're going to chromatically walk from
the fifth fret of the D string up to the
second fret of the D string right so it
sounds like this me with the pause so
you can hear that I am using my middle
finger right and my pick to pinch the D
string and the high E string at the same
time my pinky is not moving my my other
fingers are walking chromatically

and then we're going to hit an open
string on the g string hammer onto the
first fret of the g string oh okay
if you want to once you're better with
it you can hit the beat because it's
like your G major but you know that's
that's more of a flavor you know for now
you want to try to not make extra noise
on the B string so so there's the
trigger and I like that that a like
having your pinky on the a and when you
do the walk kind of grounds it in it it
was like a little bit of like okay I'm
on a I start with an A I've got this
flavor of a sticking there but I'm also
moving away right and then you finally
get to it that's right that's why it's
kind of like creating this whole blues
atmosphere that's right and so you know
for me depending on the style of rhythm
that I'm playing I like to move bass
lines and things like that so this chord
progression we have three half steps
basically that we're walking down every
time although the third being the root
of the new chord right yo matically
getting to where you need to go right so
with no actual strumming rhythm we have
in a a major seven right which is an
open a string second fret ring open G
three sacred beasts ring o the high
adopted
done you can leave the Heidi open or you
can we just hit the third again with
your pinky on the third fret whatever
use is telling you so from here we're
going to move to an f-sharp dominant
seven and the chromatic walk starts at G
sharp which is the fourth fret here the
low E string right and then we're going
to just walk down right so seven right
so we have the second fret fourth fret
right there looking for the location of
the ìiî sniffing of the B string third
fret of the g string so since our ring
finger is right here right on the fourth
fret of the a string we're going to walk
it back right so right so again 43 2 and
then we're going to play a really simple
three note little triad it's a b7 round
number one favorite you can happen nine
in one you can happen further you do it
everyone but for me in this chord
progression I personally just like right
in so it's second fret of the a string
first fret of the B string
so so far we have a dominant seven

and now finally we're going to go to the
low heat we're going to play this
f-sharp and we're going to go and sharp
which is the second fret F which is the
first fret open which is e and then step
right yeah it's the same exact shape
number seven so to move back towards the
turnaround we're going to play that
sharp G sharp and then then go fit a
straight right just ed of walking
instead of walking chromatically word
you know if you add you good you could
if you want to keep your chromatic
but hey here's you you know you're a
bucks man sorry yeah it changes it all
the same
right and also I feel like when you use
when you you know do this you can kind
of swing a leg and that's the point is
that the absolute beat you go right
exactly right into the Turner home that
