so in the previous video I showed you
how I would do the routing added some
vias and so now what I'm gonna do is do
a bit of adjustments and the cleaning
and cleaning up of the board in the text
so what all uses a slide feature and
slide some lines down and away from the
original location
what I'm trying to avoid his acute lines
acute angles on the lines here so I'll
just slide to make these or less 45
degrees and avoid acute lines in general
so right here this connection is kind of
weird so what I'm gonna do is delete
this I'm gonna make a new connection
let's go down here I'll connect it
directly to the wire slide it up
and that's a bit better
all right so now I'm gonna clean up the
text to do that what you want to do is
remove anything that's not of the
silkscreen layer so we'll just move non
tilt screen layer text off to the side
notice these are assembly top and I'm
gonna leave the silkscreen top texts
where they are assembly top just move
them out the way the silkscreen top just
move to the left
but I'm done with this I'm gonna delete
all the text I'd start silkscreen top
or silkscreen bottom anything is not
part of the silkscreen I'm going to
delete
all right that's good
so what I'm gonna do is right click and
choose super filter text only pan over
here highlight all these and choose to
leave so now all the non self screen top
indicators are gone to save my board I'm
gonna rotate my text
now I'm able to go into rotate while in
move mode because I already signed a
funky the function key R is getting me
into rotate function keys are very
useful
so see how many function keys you can
assign to make your design process go a
bit faster all right so next what I'm
gonna do is make this text uniform oh I
almost forgot about these
let's see what's class type art of
display top all right I'm gonna delete
that right click delete right click
delete and get rid of that as well okay
so now I'm going to do is I'm gonna edit
my text to do that I would go to change
objects now package geometry well
actually reference designator subscreen
top is what I would edit and I'll change
it to a text block size 2 which has the
5 mil text width so I don't really need
to change language make sure the text
box set to 2
and everything changes accordingly I'm
also gonna change the colors for my
components ref reference designator
she's white so screen top silkscreen
bottom and also for my package geometry
I'll also make that white silkscreen top
and bottom click apply and notice that
they appear for the LED and the
different packages here I'm gonna place
my text back where they're supposed to
be
I want to make sure my text is only
going in one direction and two different
directions at most
all right so this is q2 and this is d2
bt1 I'm actually going to rotate this
and I'm going to mirror the geometry
beat you over here and p1 over here
and finally I'm gonna add some text to
my board let's choose the add text
option and I'm gonna make this part of
the silkscreen layer so that be packaged
geometry or better yet yeah practice
geometry works silkscreen top how to use
text block size - I'm also going to
rotate it 90 degrees example PCB - M
