all right what's going on guys this is
going to be a quick video showing you
how to set up your custom shipping rates
when you're using the free plus shipping
trip wire method I get a lot of
questions regarding how to set up the
shipping and what if somebody orders
multiple items so we're going to get
right into it here so first you're going
to go to your products and you can see
here we're selling a BMW m2 and when
you're inside your product that you want
to sell for free you're just going to
come down to shipping and you're going
to put the weight at zero point one and
then save and that's all you have to do
and then you're going to go to settings
and once you're here you're going to go
to zones and rates and we're just going
to edit the domestic for the time being
but you can do this for the rest of the
world too you're going to depending on
where you're shipping to you can just
set these rates the same for both it's
up to you so we're going to go to edit
and we're going to get rid of these two
and we're going to add in a weight based
rate so what this is going to be is you
can name it whatever you want we'll just
name it free plus and then what you're
going to do is you're going to set your
minimum border weight to zero point one
and then your maximum order rate to zero
point one so now all orders that are
between these two and obviously they're
the same are going to ship for this
amount so you would set it as the
typical free plus shipping rate is nine
ninety five so now one out whenever
somebody orders one of your free plus
shipping items and the weight is 0.1
it's going to ship based off of this
shipping rate that we've just created
that is also point one right here so
what if somebody wears two items then
you're going to want them to pay a
double so that way you make even more
profit so what you're going to want to
do is
go to ad rate again and then make it to
where it's double so items that way
point to so now somebody adds to these
the card it's going to cause double so
we'll put the price at double of 99.95
so eight point ninety and then done so
now if people add two of the free item
the card is going to cost them $18.90
for shipping and you can continue up all
the way till you know whatever weight
you really want because the weight
doesn't have to be exact weight of the
item the weight is literally just for
shipping rates so what you can do is you
can just make this point one point two
point three you know do it all the way
up to one pound so if people add
anywhere from one to ten of your free
items to card then it will be calculated
and they'll be charged nine point nine
five for each one of them or whatever
shipping rate you're using so this is a
really easy way to set up your free plus
shipping offers that way you don't lose
money if people add a bunch of on the
