How To Find Unique Product Photos On AliExpress For Shopify Video Lecture | Shopify tutorial: Build your Shopify Store (English) - E-Commerce

hey everyone this is Brendan I'm one of
the instructors in the casual ecommerce
Shopify Academy and in this video I'm
just gonna do a really quick walk
through of how I find original product
images to use for your Aliexpress drop
shipping store but first I just want to
mention that we're doing a one-time

back to the content or the topic of
today's video which is how to find
original product images for your
Aliexpress drop shipping store and
there's two reasons that you want to get
images other than the product images
that the sellers show on their pages the
first thing is there's actually three
things the first thing is SEO so you
want to have original product images so
Google thinks you're more of a
legitimate site so if you have images
that not everyone else is using
so most store owners that import these
products are going to be using these
photos so the more original photos we
can get the easier it is going to be
it's going to be to rank our product
pages and collection pages in Google the
second reason is it's going to be a lot
more difficult to reverse image search
one of the products so say for example
we come and look at this bag if I just
want to do a reverse image search of
this bag I would just right click on the
photo and do look this one's not
actually going to show it because it's
hovered but if we come in here and we
right-click this photo we can do search
Google for image and then this will go
through Google and it will find the
exact Alibaba and other dropshipping
sites that use this image
so any of our competitors will be able
to come in here and take a look at
exactly where we got our product and
they'll be able to basically copy what
we're doing so you'll see things like
eBay Amazon it'll have you know many
pages there's probably Aliexpress
eventually in here but they'll be able
to see how much you're paying for and
they'll be able to import it just like
you are started store just like you so
instead of doing that
we can get the original photos that are
created by some of the users leaving
reviews so this is an example of a
camping store so many we have it wearing
the camping niche and we started a
camping drop shipping store and we're
trying to figure out what products to
sell so maybe we have you know some of
these titanium fork things so we could
use these pictures these are good
pictures but it's gonna be really easy
for someone to reverse image search so
instead we can come down here into the
feedback tab and then we can come into
the reviews and sort only by ones with
pictures and now we're gonna get totally
original pictures that are very
difficult to reverse image search so
take a look here you're not going to see
anything at all from this picture so
this is a much easier way to get
original pictures for completely for
free and without having to actually
order the product and take a picture of
yourself now some products if you're in
a very specific niche they're not going
to have any photos at all so this
technique is more for more popular
products with a lot of orders but when
you do find an image that you are
satisfied with you just come in here and
you right-click this one's blurry so I
would never use that but you know for
this one maybe you could do a cool
Facebook ad with this you would right
click and that's actually the third
reason that I forgot is we've had some
problems with some of the members in the
Academy group Facebook group that are
saying their Aliexpress images are not
passing Facebook's advertising
guidelines so this is one good way to
find unique photos just to start running
ads immediately to figure out what
products are going to work and what
products are not going to work so this
would be a really good eye catching
advertising image you could use on
Facebook so you just come in here and
you would just save the image as and
save it as whatever you want if it's if
you're using it for su
purposes you want to make sure that
you're saving the image with keywords in
the file name that you want to rank for
so this would be you know titanium spoon
fork for camping or something like that
and they just want to put it into
Photoshop or some other image editor and
resize it to your Facebook dimensions
add some text on there you could even do
a free plus shipping so you put free
just paste shipping on this add in text
or just upload it to your Shopify
storage directly and then you get you
have a unique free image that is of the
product or selling another really
awesome way is if you want to advance
from this technique of just looking for
image images in the Aliexpress reviews
you can ship the products to influencers
on Instagram or in blogs for free and
then in exchange for taking an image of
your photo and then that's another
really good way to get high quality
unique original images for your store
and you could disorder the product
yourself but if you don't feel like
messing around with product photography
and you want to kind of streamline the
whole process of getting photos for your
products you just you know ship them out
to a bunch of people and have them all
take photos for you and then send you
the photo in exchange for their product
and that technique is only cost
effective for cheaper products like like
this one for example so there you go
that's how you find a free source of
original product images for your lax
