in this video we're going to be setting
up our stock statuses so to do this we
go to system localization and stocks
business as you see here opencart comes
pre-populated with for stock stasis and
we just have a look at one of them here
the first one click on the right hand
side here to edit and basically it's
just as simple as this a little field
here that you put in the information
that you want to display now if you run
in multi-languages they'll be displayed
here so you get the translation and
basically put it in here so we cancel
out with this for a moment now the stock
status will appear in your system
settings so just to have a look at those
system settings click on edit here to
edit your store go to the option tab
scroll down the page a little bit and
you'll see your stock here so here is a
dropdown display of your stock statuses
show on the for repopulated ones here
from opencart so we just add a stock
status now to that we just go back into
our system localization and stock
scissors click up here on the right hand
side to insert and we're going to say
seven to ten days and we'll just drop
down here to see our new status now
seven to ten days is there now we can
set any one of these days this as
default by just clicking on it i'll even
displayed here and go back up here to
the right hand side it's half of the
page and click save now we just have a
look at a product on the front end of
the store and basically on our
availability here we can see that our
default message here is out of stock now
where we've ticked the other stock
warning message for the shopping cart it
would look something like this you get
to be red banner here and product marked
which three stairs or triple elastics
here are not available in the desired
quantity are not in stock so that just
again shall see the 3 stars here so
that's the stock status is set up
