Sage 100 - How to Adjust an Invoice in Accounts Payable (formerly MAS 90

hello my name is Catherine and I am from
acute data systems in this tutorial I am
going to teach you how to adjust an
update and invoice in accounts payable
for Sage 100 formerly known as mass 90
and mass 200 today we'll be covering
these topics how to adjust an invoice in
accounts payable updating the accounts
payable invoice register and last we'll
be reviewing the adjustment in vendor
enquiry go to the tasks pane and expand
the modules tab click on accounts
payable open the main folder and select
invoice data entry let's begin by
selecting the vendor number click the
lookup button to open the vendor list
our vendor number is 0-2 a vid for a bid
label click select enter the invoice
number being adjusted press Enter the
adjust invoice on file window appears
with the warning clarifying that the
invoice is on file click the adjust
button on the bottom left hand side on
the header tab create the adjustment by
selecting the adjustment amount field
for this example we will increase the
invoice by 27 dollars and 20 cents
click the lines tab Avett label has a
general ledger account assigned by
default if you need to select the
general ledger click the lookup button
the amount field should retrieve the
adjusted amount for the header tab if
not enter it here verify the information
is correct and click accept click the
printer icon to update accounts payable
the accounts payable invoice register
appears you can choose to print or
preview let's preview this information
now the accounts payable invoice
register report appears as you can see
the word adjust appears under the vendor
number as well as our adjusted amount
here we see the recap I Division report
showing our debits and credits do you
want to update the invoice register
click yes our adjustment has been
updated check your work by going to the
main folder and selecting vendor inquiry
select the vendor number chosen to
adjust an invoice our vendor number was
zero to David for a bid label click
select click the invoices tab our
invoice is the first invoice shown here
once you find your invoice the bottom
window shows the transaction type as an
adjustment with the current adjusted
amount so now our current amount is
$1,375 if you have any questions or
