okay now we're gonna go into Xcode and
begin programming and object-oriented
programming except when you create a new
program so go to file new project make
sure it's command-line tool and then
foundation now you can just save it to
your desktop and go ahead and name this
budget object and then go into budget
object and data and like always delete
all the stuff and the main file and
we're actually going to be coding
everything in this one file and then
we're gonna split it up at the end once
we've coded everything for this program
so first simplicity sake we're gonna cut
it all in the same file for right now so
we're gonna begin with the interface and
as soon as you type begin to type that
compiler directive it notices that it's
the interface and comes up with formats
so it's very handy here no it's going to
be budget and the superclass is NS
object and then tab to skip through
the sections and then we're just going
to declare the same variables our bars
that we as the members in the last
program that we work with so exchange
rate then the budget and exchange
transaction okay now on to the message
so their instance methods so you have
that - we're not returning anything so
it's void and then create budget the
argument is double a budget with
exchange rate is the next little section
and the argument is a float and it is an
exchange rich
okay now void again this spend dollars
method with the argument double dollars
and then the last method is the change
foreign currency and this will be
another double and then foreign currency
and then we already have at end down
there at the bottom no I didn't go over
a ton of what all this stuff was for
because this is kind of the same thing
as what we did in the last program up
here like the members that we declared
for that struck and then here like the
function prototypes like I talked about
I think in lesson 14 but anyways that's
why I didn't explain exactly what was
going on cuz we've kinda already made
this program we're just modifying it
into an objective or into an
object-oriented program so sorry for the
lack of videos or objective-c videos I
have
made one in almost three weeks I
apologize for that but just between
vacations and everything I was working
on a lot of keynotes so I just wasn't a
filming anybody there's a lot coming out
I should have another one out in a day
or two so I stay tuned for that but
