hello this is budgets are cool and you
are currently watching a video on the
sketch process that I go through so that
I'm include just everything from not
designed because I came up with that
before so you won't have to watch me
think and proportions positioning not
sure if I really have these down but
we'll get to that
so I usually like to do my sketching
with airbrush just because it's a little
nicer maybe yeah I like to use the
airbrush I've set the pen just because
there's a little more sketchy looking I
can make lines that don't really matter
later so use it without smoothing and we
shall start this is in celebration of no
more finals which I am actually not done
at all for just going into finals week
right now so probably should be studying
but final is tomorrow and I have like
the entire day to study for so we should
be fine those physics and physics is
scary
okay so you saw there I just use the
ctrl key with the bullying to make
the head bigger and what I like to do
for proportions the body is I like to
use that the head measuring system so do
that here I'll duplicate the layer the
cube now that this one is selected I'll
use ctrl T put this down here and then I
will go back to the regular layer I'll
call X can PT and I'll make a line right
and then I'll go back here to the
measuring head and then I'll move it
down there and one more headline and
then I'll go back to the head and delete
it so now that we have three hedge lanes
what it usually means is the I guess
breast line will be just a little bit
above this first headline or headline
and then the crotch areas around here
depending on the post of your character
usually when they're standing upright
it'll be a little below it but for mine
not going to be super upright so I'm
probably right on now her face she's
going to be looking pretty much straight
on and the eyes will usually be right at
or under the halfway line of the head
and this one shall have fairly big eyes
so I'll mark the lower boundary the eyes
too and so she's looking more or less
straight on I'll do that that should be
the middle of the face and just to make
sure that everything is looking okay so
far I'll go up here to inverse in so I
slip in from left side right side right
side left side it doesn't actually
change your drawing it off it's just
another view pretty much
so from here I can already say see that
my face it's lopsided but whatever okay
now I like to match that and now my eyes
will be
and so I make it somewhat symmetrical
ish do the inverse thing just so I can
make it not lopsided because when you're
the one drawing it things can easily
mess themselves up if you're staring at
too long and then like to look at it
with fresh eyes it usually works to
invert it but yeah it's really sad when
you go through the whole outline and
everything and you invert it and you're
like well I just drew a lopsided alien
that's really cool so we're trying to
avoid the lopsided alien and now I'm
just trying to get more defined that
curve of the face okay this invert that
that's one of the big problems that I
have this just a symmetrical faces like
one cheek will be square the other one
will be a circle and that people oh I'm
gonna edit that out cuz that's my name

myself because not many people see these

I don't copy too badly styles I guess
trying to keep my own style of it so we
have that there's some eyebrows a little

eyebrow another eyebrow maybe a little
longer

whatever comes to mind which is kind of
bad because whenever I say that the
exact same thing comes to my mind and I
end a drug scene which isn't terrible
but for sake of hair dyeing will attempt
to rise above the head just because not
to high emotion I'm one of those really
old beer styles the hair it's really
really kooky nothing against that

because I can't draw the rest of the
hair without the body I probably can't
but I don't want
this is just kind of shoulders are low
your season and here's position of the
hips kinda I'm gonna be a lot okay sorta
kind of something around there yes good

it should be steady but I'm not
you should probably studying - you know
who you are okay and then there's that
just kind of curtain body especially
since he's kind of in this on bent not
bad but uh we're closing food just like

little too or this I like to draw a
harmless first just more or less have a

don't end up having a broad-shouldered
bodybuilder
so elbows will tend to be right at the
waist so the skinniest part of the body
or widest depending on what kind of
character you're dry
and there's that and the wrists will
tend to be around there with respect to
the shoulder and the elbow and then I'm
not really sure what kind of hand she'll
have so close that your fingers kind of
closed it on itself and here's the rest
of our drawing that in guidelines will
go away soon enough
no and also as you can see I'm not
really a I just drawing the body right
now so the actual clothes will come in
fairly soon not sure
um got completely lost
we're sort of waving me happy not really
a fist pump thing going on here
and I didn't do the usual thing with
that just because I don't really have a
son better to do things but whatever
makes sense at the moment which I guess
isn't the best way to describe things
but just think about it ahead it should
quick I think so we can see that her
fingers would be a little off of age

like hands I'm just going to say that
right now but it's good to draw outline
of kind of the flow of the fingers
because fingers flow even like in a fist
or just kind of sticking out in any
direction though still have an origin
point to the knuckles and knuckles are
more or less than kind of an an arc to
another so that's always a good thing to
remember when drawing hands and the
thumb likes to this you know mess you up
and make your drawing not work but as
it's essentially anatomy you know we're
built to mess up people who draw and
then we're gonna have thing where the
fingers are together but that fingers
are not completely straight either
they're not hotdogs they kind of taper
off at the end
get fatter at the base which sounds good
just use your own hand as a reference
and if you're a guy like you might have
guessed that I am just trying to make it
more feminine you know what blocky
sausage finger girls unless if you
really do or of course unless you're
drawing a guy now he's taken to account

before I draw the body I like to draw a
line here kind of showing where the
body's supposed to be flowing and I
completely forgot to do that so that's
when I was having slight difficulties

that means that I am going to
be lazy and use the lasso tool so
classic to last the to kind of draw it
around the part that you want to affect
and then you can use ctrl T yeah and
make it fit there it is yeah then you
race the parts that don't make sense
anymore
and we're still lagging a little okay
we're getting kind of smooth these out
add a little break in time and space and
now okay the seam or zipper line going
over here freaking out folds over here
because of the weight of the body is
position
and go around there stop here and then
since maybe stop a little long the way
that the leg is positioned we're going
to go up and over the leg
as much as how do you usually light and
curve the other way because that legs
behind you and the roundness of the leg
will make the shape sort of also senses

at the drawing at the shoulder is

going to deviate from the body shake we
drew earlier the curves are the folds of
the clothes will go in this direction
just pretty much with food clothing
bowls you want to just be your own model
just raise your hand put it in a rear

anything you can to try to get bowls to
go naturally elbow and knee full service

really loose clothes like then they'll
