hey guys what's up this is nickel from
dope motions and welcome to this brand
new tutorial yeah
in today's video we're gonna create this
type of cool-looking advanced motion
graphics tend to after-effects using
some cool and you know advanced
techniques and yeah we're gonna create
this kind of you know logo wheel using
this paint splatter effect and we can do
pretty crazy stuff with this now I have
one more example which I'm gonna show
you pretty quick and as you can see by
using the technique that we're going to
learn today we're gonna create some cool
and you know awesome results so yeah
that is the get started pretty quick and
I'll show you how to make it so I'm
gonna give you seven really bit ago then
I'm gonna create a background for you
know a motion graphics work so I'm gonna
right click for the new solid name is VG
for background animals set this yellow
color looks good then I'm going to log
this background right click create a new
solid again and this time this is gonna
be our main paint or stroke you can see
with y'all which we are going to create
actually so I'm going to name this as
the stroke yeah look good then I'm going
to change the color now it doesn't
matter which color you keep so we're
gonna change it later so yeah then I'm
going to add an effect called CC mr.
mercury it's a pretty awesome effect you
know most of the people you know don't
use this kind of effect but it can give
you pretty good and also results so we
do some you know play around with some
settings it may get that paint effect so
let's see what we can do right over
there I'm gonna set this radius X to
zero and Y to zero as well and we cannot
show in the long activity to or decrease
the long activity to 0.6
then I'm going to play around with the
gravity I'll just changes to 30 so we
can't get this gravity you know pulling
it down then I'm gonna let's see what we
can do and yeah as you can see the
animation is set to explosive so you can
keep it you know play around with some
settings and create some different kind
of result with this but for now I'm
going to set this to directional and
then I'm going to decrease the block
dead size to zero and I'm gonna increase
the blow of both sides two point forty
maybe point four so we should have found
this effect now we also need to play
around with the resistance I'm going to
set this to maybe to teach it work good
all fifteen looks too much so I mean
changes to maybe 12 or maybe 10 should
work good yeah there we go
you see we get this drop kind of effect
going upwards so yeah that's what we
wanted and what is cool about that
effect is we also get its own light
properties and shading probably so you
can you know play around with this
things you can also include ambient
light and create some cool check you
know who affects the way you want it so
I'm gonna set this to 100 for now and
let you see you can play around diffused
lighting a little bit somewhere on this
you can just you know increase the
specularity if you want so i set this to
be 10 and the roughness you can ink
really wanna if we dive into a little
bit low and diffuse it a little bit
there you go set this to maybe a teach
it work good and then willing we
rockness a little this player on the
setting and find out which fits for you
guys so I'm gonna keep it like this for
now
some includes shading as well as light
you can also play around with the light
effect you know create some good results
if you want okay so I'm gonna add a fill
to it pretty quick let's make sure it's
on the top there we go change color to
blue now the reason I'm adding filter it
is called vehement implicated many times

you know change the color go into shape
layers or only solid properties and

to make it a little bit more organic I'm
gonna add an effect called turbulence

40 and somewhere around 60 should work
good for now so that's kind of gonna
give it a little bit of displacement but
that's gonna create some crew and
organic effect as you can see looks

looks pretty good I'm satisfied with the
result
okay so now what we're gonna do is I'm
going to create a new null object with a
new null and and an expression called
slider control quit and I mean this
thing just double click on it to name it
why it's not getting how you can you
know it and then also name this up
though I'm gonna name this is the birth
weight
okay and now what we need to do is I'm
gonna go to the spook paint
see see Matsui and we only have the baud
rate so I'm gonna you know parent this
birthday to the slider control so to do
that what we have to do is I'm going to
go up and click on stopwatch of the
birth weight there we go and this pick
whip this to the slider control cheers
like this there we go and then I'm just
gonna make a little space right over
there and I'm gonna hit p on the
keyboard to bring down the null position
properties and we need to prepare in the
producer to the peanuts position so to
do that I'm going to hold alt and click
on stopwatch and time this to the
position I'm gonna type in some
expression that is plus value go
splitter on this and the second thing we
need to do is I'm going to select the
stroke or the null and set this to 20 so
that we can see our effect now you can
see it's right over they call the
producer working as the size of the comp
so we need to bring them bring this down
to 0 it will automatically replays it to
the position of the null called being
parented the producer with the position
of the null so it this kind of tricky so
you can pause the video if I am going
too fast and you know take your time do
it precisely and yeah so yeah I hope you
understood that okay so so far so good
so we should have something like this so
now what I'm going to do is as you can
see we can see a nun so make sure the
anchor point of the null is in the
center and displayed this up in the
center then what I'm going to do is I'm
going to create a part so that we can
achieve this kind of you know this mask
path effect so this is basically the
position which our position to null you
can see which have given the part good
enough so that it can go in this way so

to do this what you have to do is I'm
just gonna make some room
select the null and select the pen tool
and I'm gonna create a part so I'm going
to first of all bring up a tidal action

present now if you're doing it for a low

your logo just make sure you you know
bring up your logo and do it with having
your logo on it so you can have an idea

so somewhere like this this be a little

okay then I'm gonna hit em to bring down
the mask properties and I'm gonna head
shift P to bring down the position
property so what we need to do now is
I'm gonna copy the mask part so ctrl C
to copy it and select the position and
control V so we're going to basically
paste the mascot position so now we
don't need the mask so I'm going to
delete this thing and you can see we
should have kind of this cool looking
effect and you can see it looks pretty
cool so if you're not you know happy
with this effect you can all always you
know go to the mercury setting then
chain this stuff so I'm going to change
long as we fight and I'm going to play
around with the resistance as well so
I'm going to bring this up a little bit
you may be 14 then we should get kind of
this effect and now what can you do is
to create a disappearing effect at the
end we need to keyframe the slider
control that created on a null object so
to do that I'm gonna course if I hit you
you see the keyframes I must make a
start form
the tenth thing and and maybe two
seconds I'm gonna make this two-second
lon okay so I'm going to go to ten ten
frames
I'm gonna set the slider control make
sure it's at 20 and hit on a stopwatch
go do the few seconds and make this down
to zero so now we should have kind of
this effect disappearing effect so if
you want you can always you know play
around the keyframes and see what else
fits by you I'm gonna close the
sidelines and see so we can see it know
precisely so yeah this is a little
pretty cool actually just figure out a
cool spot so just keep it keep it right
over them looks pretty good
yeah this looks pretty good this
position is pretty good so I'm gonna
select everything and hit f9 to easy
easy
so yeah basically a kind of effect is
already and is pretty quickly vamp
and you can see it looks kind of pretty
good so now what we need to do is I'm
gonna display around the longevity and a
little bit I'm gonna set this default oh
it's too long like this and decrease the
block twice or the both side of the
block that we have right over there we
thirty-five should work good yep it
looks pretty good so basically we need
to just control deduplicated change the
color to something like an orange should
work good I'm gonna just change the
settings just make sure they are not you
know pretty similar to either each other
so it won't look that complex if it is
similar
you displayed the somewhere on there let
us see this play around some settings
I'm going to set this to create fight
and resistance to 13 go up sighs - maybe
0.3 just we need to displace this so you
can take your time just doing pretty
randomly it seems long you want me yeah
it looks pretty good
so that is pretty quickly I'm going to
control duplicate this again change this
color to something like pale red of
something like that should look good
select the mortuary and just bring this
down something like this
changes to cloudy again just play around
with this point let me see what we have
yeah it looks pretty good king the
longevity a little bit funky should work
good yeah it's looking pretty good
don't change the position a little bit
of the mock TV so there we go we have
the treat stroke now you can create as
much stroke as you want here I have four
strokes you can see someone create this
the three strokes and we'll work is good
with this so yeah we're halfway through
now we need to create a crack man that
is going to give a little bit advanced
effect to our logo so you can see in
this example I'll show you pretty quick
you can see as the liquid comes in you
can see a white thing that is the
fragment we are going to create for the
logo you can see it looks give that
character to it and makes it looks a
little bit complex and decent
so to do that I'm going to duplicate the
main you stroke that we created so I'm
going to control it deeply get this up
and I'm going to name this as the match
then I'm going to ctrl D to duplicate
the logo as one and what we do is first
of all I'm going to select the logo and
add a fill to it so I'm gonna white you
can choose any color that yellow has
though I have white in black so I'm
going to choose white clip now then
we'll select the logo go to refract mat
and set this to alpha mat now you can
see nothing as yet happening but if I
disclose the duplicate copy of my logo
and the solo this layer out you can see
it works at the track map to our logo
the stroke that will map to a logo so
you can make some different changes in
its I'm going to change long to be point
five log British ice 2.45 and pretty
much I'm gonna mess around with any of
the setting just a little bit of
directional changes to it and we are
kind of good to go so you can see we
have a track man get good and ready to
go as you can see right over there so
I'm looking the side of longer to be two
point four and site a point forty should
look good yep changes to point so you
can see it looks very decent and pretty
good now we need to do is we need to
mask the logo so I'm gonna start come
down so I'm gonna start from the origin
the pen tool and create a mask for our
logo pretty quick okay so now we need to
create the mask so let's create a mask
pretty quickly and keep it pretty simple
there's something like this bring it out
like this then I'm going to select the
mask part and click on the stopwatch
then we need to go frame-by-frame and
edit it a little bit criticize me so do
that I'm going to just make sure it's
like the point and just move this up
just like we need to go free my payment
we create this thing up now it's okay if
it get messed up like this cause we're
going to add credit wait later so it's
okay for now I'm just going to bring
this up
and you can see it gets a little bit
messed up so if you want you can just
bring this down again if you want to be
a little bit precise you know hopefully
there we go
so we should have now kind of that
revealing it thing
oh yeah it gets a little bit messed up
right over then so we need to create a
pod just to put this up just bring this
down which okay swing down
let us add a pedal to it so maybe
depictions will work good yeah it's
actually working pretty good I'm gonna
save this to say fight there we go and
now we should have kind of that cool
effect yep there we go as you can see it
looks pretty awesome and pretty cool now
you can take your time you know go you
know slowly step by step and make it a
little more precise and more cool if you
want but once you have kind of idea how
to create this effect you can do you
know wonders with this like I created
this kind of pod then you can see I
recreated this kind of circular part
with this tree that we did we did the
same process over time oh my gosh what
I'm saying we did the same process
anyways so basically we have to get this
cool effects
one more thing that I like to do is I'm
going to add a drop shadow it go just a
little bit maybe this will give a little
bit of shadow to it and make it look a
little bit more cool you can see stream
the facet maybe credit fight yep there
we go it's copy this expect it will see
we we copy this on everything yeah we
should get this cracking effect just
rendered pretty quickly
and they are looking pretty awesome yeah
like this just like this land
yeah so you can see it looks very
awesome and pretty cool so I hope this
