continuing our iMovie tutorials and in
this tutorial gonna be focusing on how
to rotate a clip or basically put it
upside down right side up and if you
have any trouble but so I'm open up
iMovie and in previous tutorial actually
we made several different clips and we
further discussed in more detail the
cropping feature within iMovie so this
tutorial actually be rotating like ever
you mentioned so we have five Clips here
five different Clips and when I take our
milk clip and we're gonna want to rotate
this sideways or upside down but so
we're into Ondra adjustments to rotate
it you can go go select your clip that
you want to rotate or it dip it really
depends like if you're an entire project
just click on that entire project and
wrote and I mean it's like your entire
clip like for example right now only
have one small clip is 5.2 seconds I
select it go under adjustments under the
crop feature and right here on the right
hand side we have our options to rotate
so I'm gonna rotate it right and as you
can see and when you rotate it once like
this the video is completely it just
completely lost its aspect ratio now
it's gonna be sideways like this and
it's really gonna zoom it in as well
sometimes you'll have on the sides here
you'll have black lines it really
depends how you recorded or quality or
video is but since mine is pretty large
I used my actually I have phone to
record this you can see that he actually
puts it the full screen but it's a zooms
in a lot as well now for this we're
actually gonna go rotate it again I'm
gonna pause the video and we're gonna
rotate it one more time now let's
upside-down looks like the water should
be falling and take a look at this clip

in iMovie I know it's a very basic
honestly and adjustments under crop and
you can rotate it however you want
there's no really actual like a rotate
like it only lets you rotate by a 90
degrees come only it duck in unlike what
is that I don't like Final Cut Pro where
you can actually you could there's like
a bar in the center you can rotate it
however we want if only it's a little
bit of a slant or a little bit a lot you
can really rotate it however you want
but I movie only offers a basic where
you just do a 90 degree angle just you
turn it sideways turn it upside down
sideways and right-side up there very
basic rotating and that's it for this
