welcome to noon on our films today we're
gonna continue our iMovie tutorials and
in this tutorial we're gonna focus on
how do you basically do some precision
editing and specially when you're
dealing with small Clips it gets hard to
edit them and because then everything
gets so small impacted here so I'm going
to show you guys two quick some quick
clips and tips on how do you actually
make this easier for you for example
here in my iMovie tutorials event and
then my tutorial project I have my quick
clip here it's nine point four seconds
long and what we're gonna do is I want
to drag a title in there and I want to
make it as short as possible so I'm
gonna choose this reveal title drag it
straight up to the top here and I'm
gonna make it as small as I can I'm just
gonna basically drag it all the way home
all the way down to the bottom which is
really says looks like it's 0.2 seconds
so we can go up to this eye top right
hand corner of iMovie here clip
information under the adjustments tab
click that eye and it'll tell you
exactly what the size of that clip is
it's point 1 and that's basically as
small as it gonna get pointment one
second basically and you can't really
see that you can't really edit this
small little clip here so the way we're
going to do this to view it larger if I
go to this little adjustment bar under a
top you also have this clip size bar but
what we're gonna do is in an adjuster
one right next to it I'm gonna zoom in
to the clip basically all the way makes
that nine point four second look like
make makes it look like it's thirty
seconds long and now we see our actual
that the actual title here which is
actually 0.1 second it's more expanded
you played a clip the title goes really
fast as you can see here now what you
can't make this any smaller than that
unless you grab another let's go with
another little sweet with focus title
now you drug in the titles as a four
second long clip you can just shrink it
down and this could get really annoying
after ovale times so that's why I
suggest you guys actually copy it if
especially if using the same title over
and over again I suggest you just copy
it and then place it for example this is
how long I want the title to be which is
point one second can't get any smaller
or not select it and hit command C for
copy which is basically a quickie to
copy it and the only way you'll be able
to make this this the previous title
smallest if you drag it over just a
little
more and I believe that makes setup
point like a point zero five length of
the title which makes it a lot faster
appearing than actually than the
previous one and mine is pretty laggy
here so I'm gonna build to really show
you guys how it looks exactly but once
you finalize and export the project it
will show up you'll be able to see how
it the older title is actually going by
fast and the main reason you guys may be
wondering why am i showing this who's
gonna use this I did have a I did have
somebody ask me how to do something like
this in a similar way and how you'd be
able to zoom into the clip and actually
edit small clips or titles in one place
so let me just show you guys quick
example of this like I said I'm gonna
it's like this yet command copy and I'm
hit coming commands see and I'm I hit
command V to paste it again and we're
actually gonna paste it right at the end
of here

command v command V these are just
quickie to copy and paste basically and
I'm just pasted a bunch of the same ones
here now let's just change what they
actually say so I can show you guys an
example here hey there let's change this
one too
the beat is nice and let's change last
one to no Andrew Phillips and let's see
how well this turns out it's gonna go by
pretty fast because we are dealing with
like I believe not even a second clip
here but we'll take a look and see guys
it goes by pretty darn fast plus I use
the focus once so it all focuses then it
doesn't even give it enough time to
basically focus and you can I do suggest
you could use like blur in blendin or
the best ones will be just to reveal do
quick reveal or expand
was it a quickest one so the ones I
chose weren't probably the best ones to
choose but you guys here you guys get
the gist of it if you're doing really
small clips I do suggest you zoom in
will definitely help you guys out a lot
and you can see all of those titles are
in that same location but they're
actually all pretty separated together
up and that's basically it for this
