Affinity Photo Tutorial #05 - Haze Removal and Denoise Video Lecture -

hey guys ampere bringing you another
affinity photo tutorial and in this
tutorial we're going to be using the
haze removal to remove the haze from
this picture as well as the noise
reduction because as you increase the
haze remove was going to get quite noisy
so uh first thing we're going to do is
remove the haze and you have to come up
to filters and haze removal and you're
going to see this haze removal tool up
here and you can increase the distance
all the way or even a little less to see
how much noise you want and these three
buttons down here are going to help you
a lot with seeing your changes so this
is the split view and you can see how
much haze is being removed and this is
the mirror view so it shows your
side-by-side so I'm just gonna stick
with them this view and I'm going to up
the strength but as you see as you up
the strength it's going to get quite
noisy in the background and the exposure
correction right here is going to allow
you to make it brighter or darker just
changing your exposure I'm gonna up the
exposure so this is how much it was hazy
before and this is what it's like now so
you're going to see so I'm gonna hit
apply and you're going to come up to
filters again and come down to noise
denoise and it's going to give you the D
noise panel so you can uh up things like
detail on here you can check the extreme
boxes if you come up like way high is
going to make it like we're getting
blurry
it's like it out of focus so you're
going to make it just sort of play with
these sliders make it a little bit in
between you can just casually keep
upping them it's going to
make it more clearer so you can play
with the sliders as and this panel also
has the before and after and as you can
see right here it's a little less
focused so you're gonna bring just bring
down the sliders a little bit and it is
a lot it cleans up a lot of the mess
that was before you can see a lot of the
background stuff is definitely being
cleaned up just going to up the detail
so all of these things make it a lot
more clearer than the original image so
this is just going to apply the D noise
and that is haze removal tool and the
denoise tool and this is just going to
help clear up your images make them a
little brighter and a more appealing to
look at it's really effective if you
have like a sort of hazy photo like
London is usually and you want to remove
it but you just can't go back and get
that shot say you were on vacation or
something so it's a really useful tool
for a lot of graphic artists to use so
