hey guys amp here bringing you another
affinity photo tutorial and in this
tutorial we'll be going over the pixel
selections from layer ability that
affinity photo has to offer now when you
open it up I have this image right here
that is these cliffs with this ocean and
an edited sky in the background
now this edited sky is already masked
and if we deselect in the layers panel
we can see the original sky and we can
reselect this and if we wanted to
reselect this we could go through with a
selection tool but there's an easier way
to do that you can just click on the
layer with the mask come to select and
selection from layer now this will
select it and you can add coming to the
layer panel and add any of these
adjustment layers or any of these tools
on the sidebar you can use on it but
what if we wanted to now edit these
cliffs and the ocean we can come up to
select again and hit invert selection
and this will select this and now we say
come up here add adjustment layer adjust
the white balance and we can make it a
little more warm to match our skyline
and nothing was needed to be selected
through masking or anything and it's
just a quick way to section off
different aspects you have in your
photos and it's just an easy way to
quickly change between one or more ways
of editing different aspects of your
photo so that was a quick tutorial in
