affinity designer tutorial and in this
tutorial we'll be going over the Styles
panel in affinity designer so the Styles
panel comes over here and it has a bunch
of default styles that you can click on
these are kind of just easy ways to kind
of make shapes look the way you want so
say you wanted a shape to look like
glass maybe you're drawing a building
and you don't want to do the glass
effect it's already pre-made there's a
salmon one rainbow sunset metal and onyx
these are all the default affinity
styles panel categories so you can kind
of play around with these easily premade
maybe you wanted to have like a metal
sword and you were drawing that you just
can come over here and have a metal
pre-made you can search through all of
your styles and you can even have more
than one style you can come over here
and even add styles you can import
styles so there's something you find
pre-made online and that will make your
style simple and easy this is kind of
just a tool to have you have pre-made
sort of color palettes that will kind of
just make your drawings a little bit
faster a little bit easier you can also
edit these Styles as you can see
dropping the opacity of the shape as a
bunch of other cool little things you
can do with it this isn't like too
in-depth just because there's not a lot
you can do with the Styles on the
surface you kind of have to import and
see which kind of styles fit your needs
