the length of the shortest link is 100
millimeters and that of the longest link
is 200 millimeters the length of the
other two links is 150 millimeters and
175 millimeters therefore the sum of the
lengths of the shortest during the
largest link equals 300 millimeters and
the sum of the lengths of the other two
links equals 325 millimeters
clearly the sum of the lengths of the
shortest link and the largest link is
less than the sum of the lengths of the
other two links and hence the given
linkage satisfies the grashof criterion
so yes this linkage can act as a double
crank mechanism for that we will need to
ground the shortest link which is a B in
the given linkage
