In terms of their characteristics, both cyclones and hurricanes are low-pressure systems with strong winds and heavy rainfall.

The warm water provides the energy needed for the storm to develop, while the high humidity and low wind shear allow the storm to grow and intensify. As the warm air rises, it creates a low-pressure area, and cooler air rushes in to replace it, causing the cyclonic circulation.

Ans. Storms and cyclones can have various effects, including strong winds, heavy rainfall, storm surges, and flooding. Additionally, storms and cyclones can disrupt transportation and communication systems, cause power outages, and lead to the displacement of people from their homes. It is important to be prepared and take necessary precautions to minimize the impact of these natural disasters.
