Poem Crying (Overview)- CBSE Class 5 English Video Lecture

children what are emotions we all
sometimes feel angry sometimes we feel
sad and sometimes we feel happy but
sometimes we also feel like crying let's
see in this poem what the author
suggests us to do after you have soaked
your pillow with tears
crying only a little bit is no use you
must cry till your pillow is soaked then
you can jump in the shower and splash
splash splash then you can throw open
your window and ha ha ha ha
and if people say hey what's going on up
there ha ha sing back happiness was
hiding in the last year I wept it ha ha
now let's go through the new words
the first one is soaked completely wet
the next is char bath in which water is
sprayed from above wept wept means shed
tears now children in reference to the

to the poet should you cry a little or
should you cry a lot according to the
poet crying little is of no use you must
cry till your pillow is soaked question

crying a lot the answer to this is after
crying a lot you can jump in the shower

mood happy sad angry jealous or upset in
the first two lines the mood is sad the
second question in reference is in the
last few lines the mood of the poet has
changed what is it now is it very happy
is he angry is it cheerful he
sad or he is jealous he is happy and

for true and F for false the first
sentences the poet says you must not cry
much this is false because he says you
must cry a lot
the second sentence is the poet says
that you should cry till your pillow is
soaked this is true go through the third
one children the poet says that after
crying you should open the window and
laugh so that people will see that you
are happy this is true let's go through
the last sentence the poet says that you
should open the window and show people
that you are crying false you should
open the window and show how you're
laughing
question number five is which are the
things that make you happy in what ways
do you show your happiness think about
your children and answer this in your
own words let's see what comes up in
your mind okay what comes in my mind
first is chocolates yes joy is also
makes us happy
yes love indeed and my mom makes me very
happy
oh wow colorful candies and friends yes
we do stay happy in their company and
when you are hungry even food makes you
happy
