 3. What is the domain and codomain of a function?
Ans. The domain of a function refers to the set of all possible input values for the function. It consists of all the values for which the function is defined. On the other hand, the codomain of a function refers to the set of all possible output values for the function. It consists of all the values that the function can potentially produce.
 4. Can a relation be a function?
Ans. Yes, a relation can be a function. A relation becomes a function if each element in the domain is related to a unique element in the codomain. In other words, there should be no repetition of the first element in the ordered pairs.
 5. How can we determine if a relation is a function?
Ans. To determine if a relation is a function, we can use the vertical line test. If any vertical line intersects the graph of the relation at more than one point, then it is not a function. However, if every vertical line intersects the graph at most once, then the relation is a function. Additionally, we can also check if each element in the domain is related to a unique element in the codomain to confirm if it is a function.
