Globalisation refers to integration of an economy with the other countries based on interdependence. It is a multidimensional concept having political, economic, cultural manifestations. It is the process of exchange of ideas, capital commodities and people.

Colonialism is a practice or policy of control by one people or power over other people or areas, often by establishing colonies and generally with the aim of economic dominance. In the process of colonisation, colonisers may impose their religion, language, economics, and other cultural practices.

Jati is the word most commonly used to refer to the institution of caste in Indian languages. However, it is interesting to note that, increasingly, Indian language speakers are beginning to use the English word caste. The precise relationship between varna and jati has been the subject of much speculation and debate among scholars.

Caste groups are endogamous, i.e.marriage is restricted to members of the group.

Further, this societal whole or system is a hierarchical rather than egalitarian system. Each caste occupies a distinct place, and an ordered rank a particular position in a ladder-like arrangement going from highest to lowest. The hierarchical ordering of castes is based on the distinction between purity and pollution.

Some scholars argue that what we know today as caste is more a product of colonialism than of ancient Indian tradition.

Urbanization and the conditions of collective living in the cities made it difficult for the caste-segregated patterns of social interaction to survive.

The industrial areas of Jharkhand have suffered a dilution of the tribal share of the population. Similar pressure is being felt in Arunachal Pradesh. The pamphlet is a critique of upper-caste patriarchy, and is often considered the first modern Indian feminist text.

India's child sex ratio decreasing since1961, when it first count ,from 976 to 919 .unlike the total sex ratio which fluctuating .it was 941 in 1961 census and now 943 in 2011 census.
This child sex ratio will effect the total sex ratio in coming years.following are the reason for such drastic decrease and low child sex ratio .

2. foeticide and girl child killing -because of son preference ,on the religious basis ,advance ultrasonic tech made it more easy to know sex of foetus .
3. global warming -male sex chromosome able more chance to survive in high temp.
4. urbanisation and increase middle class -where small families consider good and son preference.

Its clear its a matter of grave concern. We need strict laws but with that need to implement them .We have to try to change the social value of society by educating the people .

Sanskritisation refers to a process whereby members of a (usually middle or lower) caste attempt to raise their own social status by adopting the ritual, domestic and social practices of a caste (or castes) of higher status.

The capitalist economy’s drive to exploit forest resources and minerals and to recruit cheap labor brought tribal societies in contact with the mainstream society a long time ago. However, the colonial era’s early anthropological work had described tribes as isolated cohesive communities. Colonialism had already brought irrevocable changes in their world.
