Article 368 of Indian constitution gives exclusive power to parliament to amend the constitution and its procedures.

Sepoy mutiny:

A revolt of the sepoy troops in British India (1857-59), resulting in the transfer of the administration of India from the East India Company to the crown known as Sepoy Mutiny.

It was Ustad Ahmad Lahouri from Persia, who was the chief architect behind the construction of the magnificent Taj Mahal. Khawja Moinuddin Chisti was a Persian Muslim preacher, ascetic, religious scholar, philosopher, and mystic from Sistan, who eventually ended up settling in the Indian subcontinent in the early 13th-century. He became popularly known as Gharib Nawaz, which means 'the one who shows kindness to the poor'. This was later reinforced by succeeding Chishti Sufis, who became religious pioneers in national integration in the country.

The 1929 Congress session was held in Lahore. In this session, the declaration of complete independence or 'Purna Swaraj' was adopted.

The 18th Asian Games will take place simultaneously in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia and Palembang, capital of the province of South Sumatra. Vietnam’s capital Hanoi had been due to host the Games but pulled out due to economic concerns. The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The 2014 Asian Games were held in Incheon, South Korea.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) published "India Wage Report". According to the report, real average daily wages in India almost doubled in the first two decades after economic reforms but low pay and wage inequality remains a serious challenge to inclusive growth. In 2011-12, the average wage in India was about Rs. 247 rupees a day, almost double the 1993-94 figure of Rs. 128.

The Tomb Of Ibrahim Lodi is the tomb of the Sultan of the Lodi dynasty, Ibrahim Lodi. It is situated in Panipat in Haryana. Ibrahim Lodi was the last ruler of the Lodi dynasty who was defeated and killed by Babur in the Battle of Panipat in 1526. This lead to the emergence of the Mughal Empire in India.
