Syllabus for RRB Group D / RPF Constable ExamI. Mathematics:- Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cisterns, Data Interpretation.
II. General Intelligence and Reasoning:- Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement - Arguments and Assumptions.
III. General Science:- Physics, Chemistry, and Life Sciences (up to 10th standard level). Topics include motion, force and laws of motion, work and energy, heat and temperature, sound, light, electricity, magnetism, structure of atom, periodic table, chemical reactions, acids, bases and salts, carbon and its compounds, life processes, nutrition and dietetics, control and coordination in animals and plants, reproduction, heredity and evolution, diversity of living organisms, human body and its systems, common diseases and their prevention.
IV. General Awareness and Current Affairs:- History, Geography, Economics, Politics, Indian Constitution, Art and Culture, Sports, Awards and Honors, Science and Technology, Books and Authors, Important Days, National and International Organizations, Current Affairs (National and International).
V. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):Candidates who qualify the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. The PET will consist of various physical tasks such as running, lifting weights, and other physical activities. The specific requirements and tasks will be provided by the Railway Recruitment Board.
VI. Document Verification and Medical Examination:Candidates who qualify the CBT and PET will be called for document verification. They will be required to produce all the necessary documents and certificates as per the RRB guidelines. After document verification, candidates will undergo a medical examination to ensure they are fit for the job.
Important Points:- The RRB Group D / RPF Constable exam is conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test).
- The question paper will be available in Hindi and other regional languages.
- There will be negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
- The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions.
