DRDO MTS Exam Syllabus:The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) exam consists of two tiers: Tier-I and Tier-II. The syllabus for both tiers is as follows:

1. General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability:This section is designed to test the candidate's logical and analytical reasoning skills. It includes topics such as analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, etc.
Marks Weightage: Approximately 35 marks
2. General Awareness:This section aims to evaluate the candidate's general awareness of the environment around them. It includes topics such as current events, sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian constitution, scientific research, etc.
Marks Weightage: Approximately 30 marks
3. Quantitative Aptitude:This section tests the candidate's ability to solve mathematical problems. It includes topics such as number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, time and distance, time and work, etc.
Marks Weightage: Approximately 35 marks
4. General Science:This section tests the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts. It includes topics such as physics, chemistry, and biology from the 10th standard level.
Marks Weightage: Approximately 40 marks
5. Arithmetic Ability:This section focuses on basic arithmetic concepts. It includes topics such as percentage, profit and loss, discount, simple interest, compound interest, time and work, time and distance, etc.
Marks Weightage: Approximately 10 marks
General English:This section tests the candidate's proficiency in the English language. It includes topics such as comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, etc.
Marks Weightage: Approximately 20 marks
Reasoning Ability:This section aims to evaluate the candidate's logical and reasoning abilities. It includes topics such as analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, etc.
