- Centre-state relations, parliament and state legislatures, president and governor, speaker and deputy speaker, attorney general, advocate general.
- Judicial review, writ jurisdiction, public interest litigation, constitutional remedies.
- Separation of powers, rule of law, judicial activism, judicial review of administrative action.
- National and state human rights commissions, national and state scheduled castes and scheduled tribes commissions, women's commission, minorities commission, national and state backward classes commissions, national and state consumer dispute redressal commissions, lokpal and lokayuktas.
