The Eightfold Path of Lord Buddha

4. Right Action
Right Action refers to behaving in a way that is ethical and compassionate. It involves avoiding harmful actions such as killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct and engaging in actions that are beneficial to oneself and others.
5. Right Livelihood
Right Livelihood is about earning a living in a way that is ethical and does not harm others. It involves avoiding occupations that involve harming others such as butchery, selling weapons, or dealing with drugs, and choosing work that is beneficial to oneself and society.
6. Right Effort
Right Effort involves cultivating positive qualities such as mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom while abandoning negative habits such as anger, greed, and ignorance. It involves exerting effort to develop positive qualities and to overcome negative ones.
7. Right Mindfulness
Right Mindfulness is the practice of being aware of the present moment without judgment. It involves being mindful of one's thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. This practice helps to develop awareness and concentration, which are necessary for the development of wisdom.
8. Right Concentration
Right Concentration refers to the practice of developing one's mind to achieve deep concentration and mental clarity. It involves the practice of meditation, which helps to calm the mind and develop inner peace. This step helps to develop wisdom and insight, which leads to the end of suffering.
By following the Eightfold Path, one can develop ethical conduct, mental discipline, and wisdom, which lead to the end of suffering and the attainment of enlightenment.
