What is Matter?

States of Matter

3. Gas: No definite shape or volume, particles are far apart and move freely.

Changes in Matter
1. Physical Change: Change in appearance without forming a new substance (e.g. melting, freezing).
2. Chemical Change: Change in which one or more substances are converted into new substances with different properties (e.g. rusting, burning).
