Note making of 'The Tiger king':

The chapter is based on the Maharaja Sir Jilani Jung Bahadur who was known as 'The Tiger king'. When he was young, he was told by the astrologer that he will be killed by a tiger. He was just 20 years old, when he was crowned as the king. The prediction of his death by a tiger led him to kill tigers.The astrologer warned him that the king will be able to kill tigers till 99 nos.  
But he should be careful with the 100th one. The king even married a girl who was from royal family and had more tigers in their state. Finally, the king killed 99 tigers but could not find the 100th one. On 3rd birthday of his son, he bought tiger which was made up of wood and was not well carved. While playing with the prince, Maharaja got cut on his right hand from that wooden tiger and this caused his death. Hence, the 100th tiger killed the king.

Eventually, the king's luck turns when he encounters a tiger named "Hundred and First." Despite his best efforts, the king fails to kill the tiger. He becomes a laughing stock among his subjects and loses his credibility as the Tiger King.
