Let's assume that quantities of juice taken from the rst and second cans be x and y respectively.
So we can say that  x+y = 12           ..(i)
Net quantity of water in resulting mixture = 
Ratio of water to pulp in resulting mixture = 3:5 hence the mixture will contain 
 Solving equation (1) and (2) for x and y 
x=6 , y=6

Let x litres of juice be taken from the first can and y litres of juice be taken from the second can.

Given that the total quantity of juice obtained is 12 litres.

Therefore, x + y = 12

Also, the ratio of water to fruit pulp is 3:5

From the first can, the ratio of water to fruit pulp is 25:75 or 1:3

From the second can, the ratio of water to fruit pulp is 50:50 or 1:1

Therefore, the overall ratio of water to fruit pulp in the mixture is:

(1x + 1y) : (3x + 5y) = 1:3

Simplifying the above equation, we get:

x : y = 1:1

So, x = y

Substituting x = y in x + y = 12, we get:

2x = 12

x = 6 litres

y = 6 litres

Hence, the required quantities of juice to be taken from each can are 6 litres each. Therefore, the correct answer is option A (6 litres, 6 litres).
